Welcome to New Wave Salon, located in Historic Downtown Bellefonte! We specialize in hair color and haircuts. We offer a welcoming, friendly, relaxing atmosphere in a modern vintage setting. Safety is our top priority, and every area of the salon is cleaned and disinfected in between every client. We are located in the historic district on North Allegheny Street. About The Owner
At age 17, Laura found her passion for hair while attending Barone Beauty Academy. Now with 16 years of experience she loves specializing in fashion colors, foils, balayage, and extensions. She believes in bringing out your personal style by creating a cut and color to make you feel like your best self! She is extremely passionate about furthering her education in the beauty industry and attends numerous classes per year in Philadelphia, Orlando, and NYC. Laura felt driven to open a salon where both guests and stylists have a relaxing atmosphere and always feel welcome. New Wave Salon opened in June of 2020. When she's not in the salon she loves reading, baking, music and concerts, and spending time outside with her husband, son, and her mini dachshunds Menzie and Meka!
Meet Julia!
Julia has a passion for color and loves to do bright and vivid colors, but she also loves the beauty of natural tones! When she’s not in the salon, you can find her checking her Co-Star account (she’s a proudly professed Gemini) or binge-listening to one of her favorite artists on Spotify.
Meet Autumn!
Autumn has been in the industry for three years now, and is our Salon Coordinator at New Wave Salon! She loves balayage, foils, blonding, and vivid color services. Autumn is passionate about creating a style for you that will make you feel your absolute best! When she's not in the salon you can find her creating art, painting, reading, or hanging out with her fur baby kitties Mouse and Moshie. She is also a huge movie fan, and is always up for tv and movie recommendations!

FAQ
SHOULD I BRING INSPIRATION PICTURES TO MY APPOINTMENT?
Yes! We love to see pictures of your desired style, and pictures of what styles you like and dislike. It helps your stylist to have a visual, and we can then plan with you how we can best get you to your hair goal!
WHAT IF I'M LATE FOR MY APPOINTMENT?
If you are running late, please call us and let us know! If you will be 15 minutes or more late, we may need to reschedule your appointment depending on your stylists' schedule that day.
WHAT IS YOUR NO-SHOW/CANCELLATION POLICY?
If you need to cancel or reschedule, we absolutely understand that life happens and things come up! However, we ask you contact the salon as soon as possible and no later than 24-48 hours prior to your appointment time. Should you choose to no call/no show, you will be required to pay the balance of your missed appointment before being able to schedule another appointment. If you cancel less than 48 hours three times or more, you will be asked to put down a 50% deposit for all future appointments at the time of scheduling.
